Giving
At the heart of the Christian Gospel is God’s great love for us, articulated in John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that all who believe in Him should not perish”
We believe that as followers of Jesus, we are called to mirror that love
through the way we use the resources which He has entrusted to us.
The Apostle Paul reflecting on this writes in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
“Whoever sows sparingly, reaps sparingly but whoever sows generously, reaps generously. Each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
We pray that no one feels compelled to give but rather, having
experienced something of God’s great love for them, may find great joy in
giving in return.
